SINGAPORE – For their perform in authorities, politics and advocacy, Mrs Josephine Teo, Mr Minimal Thia Khiang and Ms Denise Phua are between five recipients who have been recognised by their alma mater, the Nationwide College of Singapore’s (NUS) School of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS).

They been given on Friday night (April 29) the FASS Distinguished Arts and Social Sciences Alumni Award 2021.

In a statement on Friday, NUS stated: “These fantastic recipients have also attained excellence in several fields domestically and internationally, which has contributed to the betterment and advertising of the arts and social sciences.”

Mrs Teo, an MP considering that 2006, graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in economics in 1991, profitable various honours, like the Rachel Meyer Book Prize for staying the very best woman college student.

She was appointed Minister for Communications and Information and facts and Minister-in-charge of Smart Country and Cyber protection in May perhaps 2021.
